Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)
SEL is the process through which children and adults acquire the knowledge, attitudes, and skills they need to recognize and manage their emotions, demonstrate caring and concern for others, establish positive relationships, make responsible decisions, and handle challenging situations constructively.
Good Grief: Helping Children Cope with Loss
Good Grief provides peer-support groups for children, teens and young adults who have lost a parent or sibling to death. We also provide group support for the children’s surviving parent(s) or caretaker.
Helping Your Child Through a Divorce
Thousands of kids experience the stress of divorce each year. How they'll react depends on their age, personality, and the particular circumstances of the separation and divorce process.
Who's In, Who's Out Help your child make and keep friends.
Every child has at least some worry about the possibility — if not the experience — of being left out by the group or rejected by a former best friend.
